This session will share the stories of a group of established partnerships (Learn Sheffield, Camden Learning, Haringey Education Partnership and Tower Hamlets Education Partnership) to understand how they are structured and have grown over the time since they were launched. Learn Sheffield have just completed an independent evaluation of their impact and will use one of the supporting documents (A Brief History of Learn Sheffield 2015-2023) to support this session to reflect on:

• the purposes of each partnership and why they were formed
• their different approaches to school improvement and the impact of academisation on this in each place
• the value of each partnership to its local area
