AEPA Membership

Our membership includes partnerships across England, from established organisations to groups that are still developing.

AEPA Membership is open to local education partnerships and clusters of schools. AEPA Supporter Membership is open to all other organisations who support the aims of the AEPA.

The cost and member benefits are the same for both types of membership. Annual membership is £300 per organisation.

  • 2 free tickets to the AEPA Annual Conference, and further discounted tickets for others in your organisation (additional tickets at £170 rather than the full rate of £260). The conference takes place annually in March at the Coram Conference Centre in central London)
  • 8 free tickets to each online roundtable event throughout the year
  • Access to member-only resources and recordings of past events

  • Brokerage, introductions and support with the development of your education partnership

A core purpose of the AEPA is for partnerships to learn from each other by sharing experiences and ideas. Our annual conference, Leading Education Locally, brings together local partnerships to collaborate and hear from leading speakers such as Andreas Schleicher from the OECD, Bridget Phillipson MP and Catherine McKinnell MP when in Opposition, Becky Francis, in her role as CEO of the Education Endowment Foundation, Dame Rachel de Souza, the Children’s Commissioner, and Professor Toby Greany, as well as school and education partnership leaders, and our co-chairs, Baroness Estelle Morris and Dame Christine Gilbert.

Roundtables

We host regular online roundtables for colleagues leading education partnerships and colleagues in schools to share approaches and practice. Each roundtable is chaired by an AEPA steering group member, with a speaker from another education partnership or another expert. Recent topics include:

  • eliminating economic exclusion

  • a whole-school approach to attendance

  • local area partnership structures

  • approaches to anti-racism

  • locality leadership

  • quality in early years provision

  • rethinking assessment
